About the Role

A well-established and growing financial services organisation is looking for an Investment Operations Support Specialist to join its investment team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in investment administration, discretionary fund management (DFM), wealth management or investment operations who is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment.

Working closely with senior investment professionals, you'll play a key role in supporting investment operations, portfolio administration, client reporting, governance and research, helping to ensure exceptional service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of discretionary investment portfolios.
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring, rebalancing and investment analysis.
  • Produce regular client valuation and investment performance reports.
  • Prepare investment presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate client records and investment documentation.
  • Assist with governance, audit and regulatory processes.
  • Support the production of fund factsheets and investment communications.
  • Conduct investment and platform research as required.
  • Assist with management information (MI) reporting and operational reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, committee papers and internal communications.
  • Support investment modelling and portfolio switching activities.
  • Work closely with senior investment professionals to improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, investments and financial markets whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within wealth management, investment management, discretionary fund management or financial services.
  • Experience producing client reports or investment performance reporting.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable

  • Working towards, or holding, a Level 4 Financial Planning qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with investment platforms, portfolio management systems or financial modelling software.
  • Knowledge of investment products, discretionary portfolios or managed portfolio services.
