Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer

Bradley David Associates is recruiting a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer for a leading financial services technology company to take ownership of their Azure infrastructure and DevOps practices. This role is ideal for a senior DevOps professional who wants to lead from the front in a fast-moving FinTech environment, working on scalable, secure, cloud-native systems.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering infrastructure solutions that underpin critical applications across the business. The ideal candidate will be confident with Azure, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, and cloud security – and comfortable working in a cross-functional, agile environment.

Start Date: Immediate or negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, build and maintenance of Azure-based cloud infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep
• Ensure system security, performance, scalability and availability
• Support and mentor engineers across DevOps and platform engineering
• Drive adoption of best practice in DevOps and cloud operations across teams

 

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior or lead DevOps role
• Strong expertise with Azure services, infrastructure, and automation
• Hands-on experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Solid scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Bash)
• Financial services or FinTech background is a plus but not essential
