About the Role

Bradley David Associates is working with a leading automotive business on the search for an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a high-performing, fast-paced sales team. This role is focused on driving growth within our B2B channel while building and maintaining long-term relationships with professional customers, including workshops, specialists, and performance garages.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a demanding, KPI-driven environment, managing high call volumes, quick turnaround times, and maintaining strict margin control.

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
  • £35,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience
  • Brentwood, Essex area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Trade Sales Team, ensuring strong performance, activity levels, and KPI achievement.
  • Drive daily sales performance to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing trade customers while identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior management to implement and execute sales strategies.
  • Oversee outbound sales activity, quoting, account management, and margin control.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and credit control procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Experience:

  • Proven background in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management.
  • Experience within automotive, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or similar trade-focused sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams within high-pressure, target-driven environments.
  • Strong ability to manage KPIs, targets, and high-volume daily activity.
  • Flexibility to support occasional weekend work for automotive events and car shows.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in making quick, informed decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
