About the Role
Bradley David Associates are seeking a dedicated and experienced Key Account Executive to join our clients sales and operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless shipping and customer service experience from shipment inception through to final delivery for key clients.
As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for managing operational files, maintaining documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end operational and customer service support for assigned shipments.
- Open and manage operational files using PBL systems and ensure all e-documentation is accurately maintained.
- Follow the prescribed workflow for each shipment and proactively manage exceptions.
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors, carriers, truckers, Customs brokers, and third-party partners.
- Monitor and ensure service execution, holding vendors accountable for performance and pricing accuracy.
- Review and validate billing on each shipment file, seeking opportunities to reduce accessorial or additional charges.
- Provide regular shipment tracking updates using company tools and systems.
- Educate clients on the full suite of services provided by the company across all modes (air, ocean, etc.).
- Evaluate and price both new and existing business opportunities.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, or logistics operations.
- A postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Must have handled end-to-end operational processes
- Experience working with ERP systems and in a paperless environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required (compensation provided).
- Must be eligible to pass a TSA background check
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive approach to customer service.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to attend online meetings
