Import Coordinator

Bradley David Associates are looking for an organized and proactive Import Logistics Coordinator to manage the final leg of our import operations in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage delivery orders, dispatch shipments to carriers, and confirm successful pickups and deliveries.
• Verify bill of lading data against arrival notices and monitor cargo movement for both ocean and inland transit.
• Maintain real-time system updates for ETAs, delivery milestones, and proof of delivery
• Handle pier/rail logistics, including Pier Pass payments (LA/LB), container claims, and ensuring timely movement before the "last free day."
• Communicate delivery delays to Customer Service and process necessary payments for Customs exams.
• Monitor daily delivery reports to ensure no shipments are missed.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of relevant logistics or import operations experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with a focus on time management and analytical problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with a strong, team-oriented approach.
