Global Operations Specialist
About the Role
Bradley David Associates are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Operations / Customer Service Specialist to join our growing logistics team. This role requires a strong background in freight forwarding (7–10 years minimum), proven expertise in managing large client accounts, and proficiency with CargoWise.
In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of international shipments from start to final delivery, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. You’ll act as the key point of contact for major accounts, driving service quality and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Oversee international shipments (air, ocean, and multimodal) from inception to final delivery.
- Open and maintain operational files accurately in CargoWise, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Provide timely shipment updates and proactively communicate with clients on key milestones.
- Identify and resolve shipment exceptions, working with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, Customs brokers, and trucking partners to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure service levels and pricing agreements are met.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing, including the validation and mitigation of extra charges (demurrage, storage, per diem, etc.).
- Track gross profit per file and proactively identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Promote the company’s full range of logistics services to existing clients, supporting business growth.
Qualifications & Experience:

- 7–10 years of experience in freight forwarding and global logistics operations (both import and export).
- Proven ability to manage and grow large client accounts.
- Proficiency in CargoWise is essential.
- Strong knowledge of lineage and international regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end operational processes.
- Eligible to pass a TSA background check.
