Customs Entry Specialist – Cargo Wise

Bradley David Associates is seeking a Customs Entry Specialist with CargoWise experience to support a reputable and growing logistics organization in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. Customs entry processing, import compliance, and coordination with brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit U.S. Customs entries using CargoWise (CW1) for air, ocean, and ground shipments
• Classify goods using HTS codes, ensuring accurate valuation, country of origin, and duty calculations
• Review and validate import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and ISF filings
• Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, steamship lines, and port authorities to ensure timely cargo clearance
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails within CargoWise and internal systems

Requirements:

• Experience as a Customs Entry Specialist, Customs Entry Writer, or Import Specialist
• Hands-on experience using CargoWise One (CW1) for customs entry processing
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, customs valuation, ISF filing, and CBP compliance
• Understanding of U.S. import regulations and Partner Government Agencies (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.)
• Familiarity with ocean and air import operations, port terminals, and bonded warehouses
