About the Role
Bradley David Associates is working with a leading financial business on the search for a Assistant Acquisition Manager to join there team in the City of London.
- £90,000 - £110,000 dependent on experience
- Bonus of 20-40% of total salary
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with hybrid working options

Job Summary:
You will support the Property Acquisition Manager across all stages of identifying, evaluating, and securing real estate investments. This includes conducting market research, assisting with due diligence, negotiating contracts, and coordinating the closing process. In addition, you'll manage key administrative tasks to ensure the acquisition team's smooth and efficient operation. You'll also work closely with the Property Acquisition and Fund Managers to align with fund strategy and contribute to achieving annual investment targets across direct acquisitions, ground rents, and finance lease transactions.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis:
- Support the creation of financial models to assess investment performance.
- Analyse property valuations and identify risks or opportunities.
- Work with the credit team to assess and rate counterparties and deal structures.
Market Research:
- Identify acquisition opportunities through market analysis, listings, and agent networks.
- Gather and analyse comparable market data to support valuation and investment decisions.
Due Diligence:
- Conduct preliminary property inspections and gather required documentation (e.g., surveys, title reports, environmental assessments).
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and advisory teams to ensure full due diligence is completed in line with internal approval policies.
- Review lease agreements and financial records to assess the viability of acquisitions.
Contract Negotiation:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing purchase agreements, including terms, pricing, and completion timelines.
- Act as a point of contact with vendors, agents, legal advisors, and consultants during negotiations.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of acquisition activities, including key documents and correspondence.
- Track acquisition timelines and milestones; update internal transaction databases.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials for acquisition approval processes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with investment, actuarial, financial reporting, credit, and risk teams to align on income forecasts and manage transaction risks.
- Contribute to team discussions on market trends, economic outlooks, and property forecasts.
- Participate in valuation meetings with external valuers, offering insights and challenging assumptions where appropriate.
About You:
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience supporting property transactions.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with market participants and agents.
- Skilled in analysing property data, financials, and market trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modelling tools; familiarity with real estate databases is advantageous.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of integrity and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related numerate discipline.
- RICS membership preferred; other relevant qualifications (CFA, accountancy) also valued.
