You'll play a key role in positioning our protection products—including Life Insurance, Income Protection, and Critical Illness Cover—as the preferred choice in the market.

This is a relationship-driven role where you'll be responsible for growing business levels, increasing policy volumes, and maintaining strong retention across your adviser panel. Success will be rewarded through a competitive quarterly incentive scheme linked to both performance and behavioural objectives.

Working with a diverse range of adviser firms, from experienced protection specialists to strategic employee benefits partners, you'll identify new business opportunities, develop existing relationships, and help deliver long-term profitable growth.

  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • Home based but must have ability to travel to either London, Bristol or Watford when required
  • Salary £45,000 - £55,000 + 45% Bonus OTE (quarterly)
  • 30 days + bank holidays
  • Market leading perks, benefits and pension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with a dedicated panel of financial advisers and intermediary partners.
  • Deliver support through face-to-face meetings, virtual appointments and telephone contact.
  • Drive new business growth while maintaining profitability and retention targets.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning meetings with adviser firms.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities, including employer schemes and distributor agreements.
  • Keep advisers informed of product developments, market updates and proposition enhancements.
  • Deliver presentations, training sessions and tender submissions when required.
  • Support advisers in making full use of protection technology solutions and digital tools.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends and proposition developments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Proposition, Underwriting and Senior Management to deliver exceptional adviser support.

About You:

We're looking for someone who combines strong relationship-management skills with commercial awareness and a genuine passion for the protection market.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in account management, business development or intermediary relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • The ability to build credibility and trust with experienced financial advisers.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, taking ownership of your objectives and performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
  • A commercial mindset with a clear understanding of business growth and profitability objectives.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with market developments, legislation and competitor activity.

Qualifications:
