About the Role
Bradley David Associates is looking for a motivated and commercially focused Account Handler to join our client based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
Account Handling & Client Support:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to Account Executives
- Act as a primary point of contact for Clients regarding cover queries, mid-term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances and policy documentation and endorsements
- Handle general client enquiries promptly, efficiently and accurately Attend Insurer and Client meetings where appropriate
- Work directly with Clients on non-Account Executive cases
- Handle a wide range of commercial risks, including Property, Liability, Marine, Engineering, Cyber, Motor Fleet and Financial Lines
Broking & Market Engagement:
- Conduct marketing exercises with insurers
- Negotiate and secure renewals and new business quotations
- Maintain strong market awareness and insurer relationships
- Keep up to date with market conditions, insurer products and developments
Administration & Compliance:
- Check and issue proposals, policy documents and endorsements
- Complete all administration in line with Company procedures
- Ensure all client records are accurately maintained on internal systems
- Treat customers fairly at all times, ensuring advice is tailored to their needs
