Bradley David Associates is working with a financial services business in Chelmsford on the search for a Sales Account Executive – Insurance.

  • Chelmsford (On-site)
    Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • £25,000 - £35,000 + strong uncapped commision

Our client is a modern, forward-thinking insurance brokerage based in Chelmsford. With a highly experienced team and a growing client base, they specialise in delivering tailored commercial insurance solutions across sectors including fleet, haulage, property, construction, and professional services.

They are expanding and looking for an ambitious Sales Account Executive to join them. If you enjoy winning new business, building strong client relationships, and working in a supportive, fast-paced environment — we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:
This is a client-facing, business development-focused position where you’ll be responsible for growing your own portfolio while managing and retaining clients.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business & Sales:

  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
  • Attend local and industry events to build your pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Client Management:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Handle renewals and present competitive insurance solutions
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored advice
  • Support with policy changes, documentation, and invoicing

Team & Business Support:

  • Work closely with broking, claims, and finance teams
  • Convert warm leads provided by marketing
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and business growth initiatives
  • Stay up to date with market trends and insurer offerings

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in commercial insurance (broking or underwriting)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ambitious, driven, and keen to grow with the business
  • CII qualification (desirable, not essential)
